Hi Tonya!
Hope all is well! Just wanted to give you an update and some pictures on Lucy’s (red Dobie purchased 7/23/10) progress! She is doing beautifully. She was a little weary when we first got home but has warmed up immensely. She’s adjusted to our hectic and sometimes chaotic lifestyle. Britt (my oldest daughter) has been staying home with her during the day while I’m at work but unfortunately, school is starting next week so we’ve been working on adjusting Lucy to being with Roxy (our foxy Doxie) during the day. They play well together and we have an extra large crate that they stayed in together while we ran errands last night-she did fine.
She’s is such a smart girl. She already knows come and sit. She’s learned that feeding time you cannot jump and will sit and wait for her food, she stays right next to us in the yard and has done well housetraining. Our biggest obstacle is she eats everything she finds on the ground. J Flower pods, pinecones (seems to be her favorite), grass clumps, etc. Hasn’t been destructive in the house tho….she did try chewing on the couch cushions but a firm “no” and she hasn’t done it since.
I guess I’m going to leave her ears natural. She’s just about too old for them to be done and I can’t find anyone in a 50mi radius that does it. I was worried about the taping and cupping and taping and cupping, etc. I know you said your vet does it and uses implants….can you give me more information and his number? Maybe he can squeeze us in….hint, hint, hint. ;)
I’ve attached some pictures…thank you for such a beautiful girl. Ohhhh…..she’s already protective of the girls. My husband was playing in the pool with our youngest, spinning her around and she was screaming (fun, giggle screams) and Lucy went nuts…..she did not like Jordyn screaming at all. So, we had to work with her on knowing that it’s okay for US to play (and discipline). She learned quickly and still watches closely but no more barking and growling. J
Thanks again and let me know on the vet thing.

Tonya,
Wanted to give you an update on Lucy's (red Dobie) first day home. She is getting along so well with our other dogs...even the Chihuahua. So far, she's been playing outside, staying right with me and the girls and playing tug of war with our mini Doxie. She's worn out and sleeping (on the couch mind you) right now. She is a sweetheart and we love her very much. She is a wonderful addition to our family.
Thank you,
Allison |

I raise teddy bear poms and pom-chi- Iwas hopping you had some poms( my husband is probably thankful that you do not!) and was hoping you might have some in the future. My male is black with a white blaze and my female is orange sable while the little chi-is choc tri. If you ever get any teddy bear pom females that are not red sable let me know. 4783570826. | Wow, that is a lot of different breeds of dog. It would seem impossible to be organized in breeding healthy dogs for so many different breeds. It must be time consuming and tiring. You aren't anything like a puppy mill.... |

| Hello.. Do you do genetic testing on ALL your sires and dams? Have they had their hips and eyes certified fair or above? And how is it that you manage to breed so many dogs? :) |

Hi Tonya. I enjoyed seeing your puppies this weekend. I own the house across from your mother. I really liked the little chihuahua that wasn't for sale. Please let me know if you decide to sell or if you breed him. I would be interested. Thanks, Pat |
